Writer's Block? I've Gotcha.

If you are struggling with writers blog no need to fear! Here are some questions or things that you can do to help push that mental block out of the way.

Have your character. . .

  • Meet a clown
  • Throw up
  • Question their sexuality 
  • Miss their plane
  • Get sick
  • Face a fear
  • Almost drown
  • Get addicted to something
Your character is afraid of. . . 
  • Clowns
  • Peanut butter
  • Horse hair
  • Phone chargers
  • The internet
  • Needles 
  • Water
  • Shoes
  • Pony tails
  • Hairless cats
  • Hairless dogs
  • Knobs
Your character loves
  • Piglets
  • Stripes
  • Mismatched clothes
  • Quotes 
  • Benjamin Franklin 
  • Peacocks
Scenarios/ How does your character react? Write your character into one of these scenarios just as an exercise to help ease that writers block. It doesn't even have to be a part of your story just use these scenarios to help figure out what your character would do in a certain situation. 
  • Your character has a gun pulled on them. 
  • Your character is forced to sing on national television
  • Your character has to go out in public in their underwear.
